Welcome to the Arte dei Suonatori Green Room
In the world of theatre and music, the Green Room is a place for artists to rest and prepare. We want our virtual space to give this name a new, deeper meaning. To us, it is a meeting point where we bridge respect for tradition with a modern, ecological approach to art and cultural management. This is where we document the results of the project “Reuse: Heritage and Innovation,” part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO) for Culture.
We believe that early music and caring for the planet's future share a common denominator, as interpreting heritage through the lens of sustainability is more relevant today than ever. Here, you will find concert recordings, insightful conversations, and discussions on how the 3R principle (Reduce-Reuse-Recycle) resonates in the world of early music, along with highlights from our workshops for children and youth.
Step Inside.
Recordings: The “Reuse” concept in practice
Young Mozart and echoes of Johann Christian Bach
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart reworked the sonatas of Johann Christian Bach to create his early piano concertos. It is a fascinating process of styles intertwining and giving works a new form.
Performers: Katarzyna Drogosz & Arte dei Suonatori (chamber ensemble)
Johann Sebastian Bach: The accordion edition
Did Bach write for the accordion? Of course not, but the term “Clavier” gave performers the freedom to choose their instrument. Andreas Borregaard and Arte dei Suonatori embrace this historical liberty, bringing a Baroque masterpiece into the 21st century.

“Reuse” sound re-creativity workshops
Education through action – highlights from our workshops for children and youth.
In the Green Room, we don't forget the youngest generation. During the workshops, participants produce and record sounds from recycled or reused objects, giving them new functions and meanings. These recordings then serve as material for further processing via manually controlled generative algorithms, transforming them into music. As a result, the sessions combine manual activities, sound experimentation, and technology, fostering creativity, attentive listening, and an awareness of material reuse.
